KIDS

  • Arts and crafts supplies (Crayons, Markers, Play-Doh, coloring books for all ages, etc.)

  • Baby/infant/toddler toys (rattles, musical/light up toys, teethers, etc.)

  • Barbie/baby dolls (all races)

  • Small prize toys (Legos, Hot Wheels, fidget toys, bubbles, etc.)

  • Card games (UNO, Phase 10, matching games, etc.)

  • Hygiene products (for all ages, races, and genders such as deodorant, soap/body wash, underwear for all sizes, etc.)

  • School aged toys (dolls, action figures, make up, sports balls, ear buds, etc.)

  • Items for adolescents (small electronics, remote control cars, hand-held electronic games, etc.; please no gaming consoles)

  • Adult Sized Clothes (especially adult pants with no strings for all sizes and men’s underwear in all sizes)

  • Pacis

Other Ways to Donate 

The easiest and most convenient way to get gifts to UMMC Children’s Hospital’s patients is through online ordering via their Walmart List and Amazon Wish List.

If you wish to receive a tax receipt, please complete their In Kind Donation Form. 

**Important** Review their Wish list instructions before you get started. 

CAREGIVERS

  • Snacks, snacks, snacks!

  • Self-care items (bath bombs, lotions, etc)

  • Shampoo/Conditioner (Dry Shampoo)

  • House shoes

  • Fuzzy socks with grippers at bottom

  • Hair ties, headbands

  • Blankets

  • Pillows

Please note 

  • Please do not wrap donations or make “goodie bags” of an assortment of items. Patients frequently are unable to receive items within goodie bags or care packages because of religious, dietary, or medical reasons. 

  • At this time, they are not accepting any gift cards. 

  • Currently, they are fully stocked on handmade face masks, handmade pillowcases, quilts, blankets, hats, scarves, and mittens. They can accept handmade baby layettes. Please call UMMC if you wish to donate any PPE (personal protective equipment) items. In accordance with Infection Control policies and UMMC guidelines, there are a few things they cannot accept or hand out to patients in our care: 

    • Handmade cards 

    • Used items (even gently used

    • Religious items, or items that include religious references 

    • Toy weapons or violent video games/movies 

    • Candy 

    • Latex balloons 

    • Items that are not conducive to a small hospital/clinic room, such as: 

      • “Ride-On-Top” toys, such as bikes, scooters, pogo sticks 

      • Toy kitchen sets/appliances 

      • Large Trucks 

      • Doll Houses
